Rated 5 out of 5 by from DisplayLink is an expensive mistake I am not thrilled with this purchase. The directions were poor and the unit did not operate as described in the literature. I am running 3 monitors with a desktop PC. When I set it up as directed only one monitor worked. So, before returning it to Dell I tried several configurations. The one that worked had me linking to monitors to the DisplayLink and one to the HDMI connection on my computer. So, what I have is a DisplayLink that only supports 2 monitors that I paid over $150 for. I could replace it with one of several links designed to drive 2 monitors and a USB multi port. Would I buy another or recommend it --- no. I would use the above configuration at 2/3 the cost.

The monitor works because it was previously set up on a Mac with a DP to mDP. The new thing is your cable, which doesn’t work. I’m going to be returning it. Can I get some customer service, please?

Unfortunately, my work laptop connection would not accommodate the monitor. CDW was my "Go To" for that connection. I've been working without issues for weeks. Thank you CDW!

I called tech support and unfortunately they were not a lot of help. I had to find the cable myself which ended up being VGA to HDMI.

The nVidea only has DisplayPort connections, so I needed a cable or adapter to connect. This cable fit the bill perfectly. The only reason I only gave 4 stars is because I should have ordered a longer cable. This is long enough, but only barely.

Since we weren't purchasing a monitor we did not have the proper cable to fit the TV we were using as a monitor. A special cable needed to be purchased. The sales representative was able to order one that arrived with the PC. We were able to connect PC to TV right away.

The docking stations have Display ports and the monitors are HDMI. After trying different brands of cables, we found the Tripplite cable to be the best and most reliable. The cables have solid ends and the cables are not thin. The overall cable is very reliable and work without any additional drivers. Plug and Play.

I researched about the Display port to HDMI before I bought the computer and found if I buy the This type of Cable (not brand so much) that I would any other adapter and would not have any troubles at all,, So I did and these is all I needed,, I can run 4 monitors with type of cables on my computer, but only running two for now,, These are great adapter cables !!!
