Tripp Lite's P134-000 DisplayPort to DVI Adapter Converter allows you to connect a computer with a DisplayPort connection to a DVI monitor. Digital Video DisplayPort signals are passed through with support for DVI-D single-link computer video resolutions up to 1920 x 1200, and HD resolutions up to 1080p. This display port adapter works really well with my HP and Dell computers but when using it with a Mac it does not seems to fully lock into the display port. I would recommend this adapter for use with an PC but I would hesitate to recommend it for Mac use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product with a couple quirks I've pair this adapter up with my MSI GTA 1050TI Gaming X edition gpu for my multi monitor setup and had absolutely zero issues with it displaying on the screen. It's just plug and play which makes it ideal for most people. The build quality is above what I had expected with the exception of a couple personal issues. While the DVI end is a molded plastic making it solid the display port end is a plastic case making it feel somewhat flimsy and cheap. The only other issue I've seen is with the short cord length while it is nice for cable management I did notice the display port end pulling rather hard on my video card due the stiffness of the short cord.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have 4 would buy more! I've used Tripp-lite UPS for many years - with a Just In Case there is a problem. When my house got struck by lightening right out the cable box I was sure that many thousands of dollars of audio and video equipment were trashed. Outside cable box blew over the neighbors house, garage door opener blown off the ceiling, wall plugs blown out... But all of my electronics (plunged into the UPS) survived. The Tripp-lite UPS ate the bolt - sacrificed itself (it didn't come back on) but everything connected to it did. After that - everything that needs safe power (TV's, desktop computers, wifi routers, DVR's) are all now connected to Tripp-lite UPS...

My new laptop only has a full size DisplayPort 1.2 and a mini DisplayPort 1.2, so having an adapter that works with DVI is great, as many locations are starting to remove the old VGA plugs in favor of DVI and HDMI.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid adapter, no hassle and works well Signal and use was great- Plug and play with no hesitation. Unlike the picture, the 2" of cable between the connector bodies is stiff- it will take that bend, but it will want to stay that way for a while. I wish the adapter was either shorter or longer as you have a heavy DVI set hanging off the locking pins on the DP connector, but I can't complain about the quality or usefulness. I've pulled it out a couple times to make an event happen and been very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would recommend this product to others So I've been using this adapter for about 3 weeks and it's great. There was zero loss of picture quality, no noise introduced at all and was completely plug and play as it was advertised. I did not have to do any driver or display configuration at all. My only note (and it's a small one) is about the length of the cable. it is quite short, and my concern with that is how much weight it would be putting on the port itself on my graphics card. DVI cables are quite heavy and so having both the cable from my monitor and the end of this cable it weighed quite a bit and the display port connection itself is quite small. That being said at the end of my 3 weeks I did not notice any sagging what so ever and inspecting my graphics card I didn't see any strain applied to the card. I would recommend this product to others for sure.

My various clients have differing, sometimes bare-bones and many times obsolete equipment setups, so connecting KVM switches, for example, to their display or projection devices is often a challenge. This adapter is well-built and works.

I rearranged my office and have a number of desktops and monitors that do not use HDMI. This adaptor allowed me to match up some of the equipment that I would otherwise not have been able to use. And the adaptor is of heavy duty, quality construction too.

If you have 2 or more monitors then everything on your desktops get moved to the other monitor and you have to then stop what you are doing and reset this adapter and then rearrange your desktop.

It also offers me a way to be budget conscious for clients to get an adapter instead of a new monitor every pc upgrade.
