DocuMate Scanner Drivers for Mac OS Catalina NoGo
Xerox reached out to me when they released the updated drivers for Mac OS 10.15. I installed as instructed and attempted to scan documents into Adobe DC. The scan tries to start and the count down starts but never pulls document into scanner. Tech support logged into my computer remotely and installed rivers...same steps I took. Ran into the same problem and them blamed it on Adobe. I give him credit because he wanted to give up but did not. Eventually got the scan to work in Adobe. After disconnecting the session and hanging up the phone the problem came back and I have not been able to get a successful scan since.
The driver will allow you to run a scan through the Mac scan utility b ut the quality of the scans is so horrible it's unusable.
Solution is to run a virtual Windows environment and use Windows drivers. I had that exact same setup with my old scanner. I bought this scanner (DocuMate 6440) because it was advertised to work with Mac. Unfortunately, it does not.

Love my scanner
This scanner is used daily on everything from receipts and official business documents to photos and newspaper clippings. It's never skipped a beat and the available options for scanning are seemingly endless. The options for use with other software programs are also impressive. The ONLY thing I'd like to see in a future product would be a slightly (maybe as much as an inch wider option for paper size but not if it were to mean a reduced quality in the output or the reliability of the device.
Thius is the best scanner I've ever owned or used.

Dependable Scanner - Great Value and Quality!
I've been testing high speed scanners for our enterprise and finally came across DocuMate 6440. The user interface is straightforward and user friendly. The build is quite sturdy except for the output tray which is susceptible to breakage if not handled properly - I guess the same for most scanners, does not impact the functionality.

Amazing Compact Design With Blazing Speed
This scanner folds up to save space for a home office when not in use, and comes with a great bundle of software that integrates with Microsoft as well as Adobe seamlessly. Also has the ability to added to a network for quick sharing of documents with multiple pages. Was everything I needed and wanted as home worker and the price digestible! Xerox is a company that has been in the business industry with trusted reputation for quality products that will last as well as endure daily usage.
