Easy to use but not reliable
These cartridges are easy to use and easy to replace without any spills. But they are not reliable. They have some electronics build it so that Xerox could have more control over what ink you use and how. I am not really sure what the electronics does, but what I do know is that it can fail. When it fails, your printer will stop working, because everything has to be just PERFECT. If one ink cartridge fails, the whole printer stops working. One of my cartridges failed even though there is still toner in it. But the presence of toner doesn't matter. What matters is the electronics. Fortunately, if you call Xerox, they will send you a replacement cartridge. But, in the meantime, be prepared to live without your printer for several days.
