Direct thermal materials utilize a heat sensitive, direct thermal coating that produces an image when in contact with the energized thermal printhead within your printer. The direct thermal coating is also sensitive to other environmental factors such as chemical contact, humidity, UV exposure and abrasion. These factors can destroy or degrade the quality of your printed image.
