It was fast -- I had the memory within a couple of days of ordering it. It was easy -- I just needed to overcome my fear of taking the cover off my computer! My computer isn't locking up any more.

Rated 5 out of 5 byCbuck from 1GB 240-pin DIMM DDR2 PC2-5300 NON-ECCI did not open computer but relied on the Crucial scan. Info stated I could use another stick. Purchased though had to purchase the 2 pack. I opened my Dell Inspiron 530 and found all racks held a memory stick. PC indicated my memory was 3.24Gbs. I switched back and forth with the 2 new sticks until all had been changed out. I left the 2 new ones in along with 2 old ones. At no time did my memory rise above 3.24. I just didn't need to order the items. No problems. Have a good day!
