The Digi TS H Family of device servers delivers high-performance Serial-to- Ethernet connectivity and is designed specifically for environments that require extended operating ambients of -35 to +70°C
The Digi PortServer® terminal server provides network connectivity over TCP/IP for any serial device. It supports application requirements from two to 64 ports.
The versatile PortServer TS H can attach any serial device to the Ethernet. This product is ideal for console management of server farms, hubs, routers and PBXs, as well as connecting terminals to database applications such as travel reservations and information services. The PortServer is also a smart solution for kiosk management applications and small ISPs.
The PortServer TS H allows you to connect clusters of two to 16 high-speed serial ports to any TCP/IP Ethernet network. It supports asynchronous terminals, modems, printers and other serial devices. The PortServer TS H is hardware independent, allowing users to access any type of networked server supporting TCP/IP.
The Digi Port Authority - Remote (DPA-Remote) is a valuable tool for managing the PortServer over your LAN or WAN. DPA-Remote provides live graphing of serial and Ethernet activity plus the ability to see signals on all ports for troubleshooting cable or flow control issues.
Features:
Connects to 10/100Mbps Ethernet LAN
Telnet, Reverse Telnet, Rlogin and auto connect support
Ports may be shared by multiple hosts running different operating systems
Full modem and hardware flow control
LED line status indicators for Ethernet activity
Password access
Up to nine Telnet or Rlogin sessions per port
SNMP management
Supports DHCP allowing for easy IP configuration
Easily upgradeable firmware via TFTP or BootP
Save/Restore configuration to host
Surge protection on all ports
Line Printer Daemon support (LPD)
DPA-Remote for easy administration
Two EIA-232 asynchronous ports
