Basic Operating System software is ideal for enterprises seeking simpler and more cost effective ways to manage their storage, either for a single Hitachi system or for larger installations comprised of multiple heterogeneous storage systems. Basic Operating System software not only enables more efficient storage management, but also improves storage utilization by improved visibility and centralized control of all enterprise storage systems. The Hitachi Basic Operating System software also includes interfaces for automating the storage management processes.
