Product Reviews
TP-LINK SafeStream TL-R600VPN - router - desktop is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid device - been using it for a few weeks now and very happy with the performance. The hardware is solid and the interface is easy to use and navigate. It's inexpensive for what it offers and it allows us to have a 24/7 VPN tunnel to our remote office without worry. Firmware is easy to update, and TP Link seems to support the product well as I have had to reach out to them for a configuration question. I like the simple menus and fast setup. Would recommend for small and home office setup if needed. The documentation has been vastly updated and makes many different VPN config scenarios easy to navigate.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I bought this for my home. I haven't attempted to use the VPN part yet, or even set it up. What I have done with it though is the bandwidth control. I give the kids 15 Mbps down and 512Kbps up. The adults get at least 85 Mbps down and 1.5 Mbps up that way, or the full connection. That way if I am working from home I am not competing with the kids for bandwidth. It has been rock solid, great speeds over the LAN ports. I have no complaints so far with this. I was hesitant because it was a TP-Link but for home it has been great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This inexpensive router would be fine for home or home office use. The gigabit ports provide good true speed and the router is easy to setup and manage. The VPN is difficult to setup and the documentation for this device is hard to come by.
